55% AL-GL of Galvalume steel coil
Surface of Galvalume Steel
The corrosion resistance of 55% aluminum-zinc alloy steel sheet benefits from the protective function of the passivation layer of aluminum and the sacrificial protective function of zinc. When zinc is used for sacrificial protection on trimming, scratches and coating scratches, aluminum will form an insoluble oxide layer on the outside of the steel plate to play a barrier protection function.
The weight of the coating is the most important guarantee for corrosion resistance. The greater the thickness of the coating, the better the corrosion resistance.
